Métis Heritage


My mother always talked about having a Indian Grandmother in her family tree. It took me years to find her, but when I did, it was confirmation to the tale and amazingly, her last name was Métis.

As part of my Canadian family tree, I believe these ancestors are where some of my North American Indian DNA comes from.
